How can I check whether an order-related message is genuine?

Be cautious when a message asks for an action unrelated to the documented purchase process. Do not assume a message is genuine merely because it follows a recent purchase.

What should I check when product images are described as illustrative?

Ask about inconsistencies between several images of the same offer. Consider whether the written limitations affect what the image suggests.

What should I check when current terms differ from my saved order information?

Ask the responsible party to identify the source of the rule they are referring to. Do not treat an unresolved difference as an automatic promise of a particular outcome.
